MegazoneCloud signs MOU with PTC Korea for manufacturing digital transformation

• Accelerating digital transformation throughout the entire manufacturing process including product design, production, and service based on cloud and physical AI

Megazone Cloud (CEO Yom Dong-hoon), a leading AI and cloud company, is embarking on strategic cooperation with PTC Korea (CEO Kim Do-gyun), a global digital transformation solution company, to accelerate digital innovation in the manufacturing sector.

The two companies signed a 「Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Accelerating Manufacturing Digital Transformation Based on Cloud and Physical AI」 at the Gwacheon Megazone Industry-Academia-Research Center on the 24th. Through this MOU, the two companies plan to engage in broad cooperation in areas including ▲digital transformation of manufacturing companies based on cloud and AI ▲joint development and on-site application of physical AI.

PTC Korea supports manufacturing customers in promoting efficiency throughout the entire process of product design, development, production, and service through solutions such as 「Windchill」, a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution, as well as Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Internet of Things (IoT), Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and Service Lifecycle Management (SLM).

Through this agreement, PTC Korea will supply its core solutions to Megazone Cloud, and Megazone Cloud plans to optimize these solutions on a cloud basis and provide them to manufacturing companies. This will enable manufacturing customers to integrate and manage the entire process from product design to production and service, and support them in implementing and operating production sites as digital twins using IoT data.

Additionally, the two companies plan to jointly develop physical AI technology specialized for manufacturing sites and expand cooperation to include applying it to actual customer environments. Physical AI is a technology that collects and analyzes data from physical environments such as robots, equipment, and sensors in real-time to increase productivity and safety. According to the agreement between the two companies, it is expected to contribute to solving manufacturing site problems such as automatic production line speed adjustment, quality anomaly detection, and worker safety monitoring for existing and new customers, and to strengthen capabilities in data analysis, operational optimization, and emergency response.
